Public API

Use the API when a service needs to retrieve project data outside the dashboard. Authenticate server-side with a project key, bound every request to the intended project, and request only the fields required by the job.

For ingestion, prefer the Ingestion API. For existing OpenTelemetry pipelines, use OTLP. Keep application-specific exports and dashboard reads separate so a reporting job cannot accidentally become part of the production trace path.
